This is not a view you find right after stepping out of your car, but a discovery point that requires effort from its visitors and rewards that effort with unique beauty at the end. In contrast to the magnificent and crowded atmosphere of Saklıkent, Gizlikent promises a more intimate and playful nature experience.

The Adventure Itself: The Path to the Waterfall

The real magic of Gizlikent begins on the path you walk to reach it, even before the waterfall itself. Your adventure starts with a long wooden staircase that takes you down into a lush green valley. When the stairs end, you find yourself in a creek with ice-cold flowing water. From this point on, for about 200-300 meters, the creek itself is your guide.

You proceed carefully over mossy stones in the water, which is sometimes ankle-deep, sometimes knee-deep. The lush green vines and canyon walls surrounding you allow the sunlight to filter through only in places, giving the valley a mystical atmosphere. The most important preparation for this adventure is the right footwear; water-friendly, non-slip rubber shoes or sandals will allow you to proceed safely over the mossy stones, and you can usually rent them at the entrance.
